Internal Rules and Regulations of the School of Industrial, Computer and Aerospace Engineering
Approved at the School Board Meeting on June 6, 2022
Approved by the Governing Council of the University of León on October 4, 2022.
From July 1 to July 15, 2023, the period is open for those students who, after having passed 30 credits of the study plan in which they are enrolled, are interested in changing Degree(Royal Decree 412/2014).
Admission Regulations Students coming from partial university studies in Spain or abroad.
To do so, it is necessary to fill out the application form and attach the following documentation:
Photocopy of the D.N.I. or equivalent identification document.
Photocopy and original for comparison or certified photocopy of the personal academic certification, in which the overall average grade of the transcript and, if applicable, of the official university degree is stated. This documentation will not be necessary when coming from the University of León.
Teaching guides of the subjects passed, stamped by the Center of origin. This documentation will not be necessary when coming from the University of León.
For those students coming from foreign educational systems: they must make a deposit for the amount of 210.97 ¤ in the account of the school of UNICAJA ES90 2103 4257 1100 3202 6630 corresponding to the “Evaluation of the file for the access by recognition of foreign studies”. Proof of payment must be enclosed with all documentation.
Management of academic documents verification.
Certified copies of the academic documents issued by the University of León related to the degrees obtained at the School of Industrial, Computer and Aerospace Engineering may be requested at the Secretary’s Office of the School of Engineering.
To do this they must make a deposit of 12.17 € (6.09 € in case of Large Family General Category), in the account of the School, Unicaja, and submit it to the Secretariat along with the originals and copies to proceed to its verification.

Extraordinary Call for December
Students who meet the following academic and administrative requirements are eligible to apply for the December 2023 special call for applications.
Academic requirements: interested students will be required to have a maximum of one course and the Final Degree Project pending for the completion of their studies.
Administrative requirements: must enroll by July/September 2023. They shall also expressly state their desire to participate in this call for applications by requesting it at the Center Administration.
In the event that the student does not pass or does not attend a subject of the first semester, he/she will be assigned February as a second call, being able to opt for January upon request to the Administration of the Center. If it is annual or of the second semester, by default it will be assigned the July session, with the possibility of choosing June, upon request to the Administration of the Center.
In the event that the student does not present or does not pass the Final Degree Project in December, it will be kept as a second call in September, and the student may opt for February or July by depositing it within the deadlines indicated for these calls.

In the event that a student who has applied for the December extraordinary exam and does not pass or does not present a first semester course in that exam, he/she will be assigned the February exam, and may opt for January upon request to the Administration of the Center/Unit of Graduate Studies. If it is annual or of the second semester, by default, it will be assigned the July convocation, being able to opt for June, upon request to the Administration of the Center/Unit of Graduate Studies.
To request the Refund of Public Fees for tuition or any other income (certifications, degrees, etc.) you must fill out and submit the attached form at the School’s Secretary’s Office.
The refund will be effective as of the third month following the submission of the application.
REGULATIONS FOR EVALUATION BY COMPENSATION OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LEON
The University of León has been regulating the evaluation by compensation in Degrees of Bachelor, Diploma, and Technical Engineer. Once the new degrees adapted to the European Higher Education Area have been implemented, it is also necessary to offer this evaluation system to Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students.
The Organic Law of Universities 6/2001 of December 21, 2001, establishes in Article 2.2.f that within the scope of university autonomy, the functions of the universities are “the admission, permanence regime and verification of students’ knowledge”, and therefore the University of León is empowered to approve this regulation. Article 23.5 of Royal Decree 1791/2010, of December 30, approving the University Student Statute states that: Universities, within the framework of the academic freedom they have recognized, may establish compensation mechanisms by subject and form tribunals that allow to judge, as a whole, the academic path and the work done by the student and decide whether he/she is in possession of sufficient knowledge and skills that allow him/her to obtain the academic degree to which he/she opts.
Under these premises, these regulations establish a system for the evaluation of students by means of grade compensation, for all degrees offered by the University of León leading to the award of a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.

NEW PROCEDURE FOR THE DEPOSIT AND DEFENSE OF TFG/TFM
From this academic year 2019/20, the application and deposit processes of the TFG and TFM will be carried out through a new platform, designed to facilitate and homogenize the online application and deposit of the TFG/TFM in different centers of the ULE. The student must have previously approved the pre-registration of the subject and be enrolled in the TFG/TFM.
This is intended to:
- Eliminate hard copies of the TFG/TFM.
- Homogenize part of the process across all ULE centers.
- As it is an online platform that can be accessed at any time and from anywhere, it facilitates the delivery and management of the TFG/M both for students and for the rest of the users involved in the process.
- The student requests the deposit of a TFG/M through https://tfg.unileon.es.
- The TFG/M committee rejects, modifies or approves the application.
- If the application is accepted, the student deposits the PDF and annexes of his/her TFG/TFM (both the format of the document and the file name can be consulted on the School’s website http://ingenierias.
unileon.es). - The guardian(s) approve or reject the deposit.
- When the tutor(s) approves the deposit, the TFG/TFM committee assigns a tribunal for the defense of the same.
- The secretariat assigns date, place and time for the TFG/TFM defense.
- Calls for public defense are published on the School’s website.

ULE Permanence Regime
The regulations governing the academic regime and permanence in the official master’s degree programs were approved by the Governing Council on 29-04-2022 and can be accessed at:
REGISTRATION OF TECHNICAL VISITS
In order to establish a standardized procedure in relation to the external Technical Visits, carried out with students of this Center, it is necessary to fill out a
FORM
and submit it to the School Secretary’s Office each time a visit of this type is made.
This form, in addition to the basic data, must include the list of participating students, which is an essential requirement for school insurance matters and is mandatory.
Application for Official Academic Certificate
To request an Official Academic Certificate you must make a deposit or transfer to the School’s account at Unicaja Banco S.A. of the fees corresponding to the issuance of the certificate. The account number of the School is: ES90 2103 4257 1100 3202 6630 and the amount to be paid is as follows: 32,93 ¤ if it is an ordinary fee, 16,47 ¤ if it is a Large Family of General Category. Exempt from payment are the beneficiaries of Large Family Special Category, students with disabilities, victims of acts of terrorism, victims of gender violence and beneficiaries of the minimum living income benefit.
The concept must include: “NºDNI CERTIFICADO ACADÉMICO PERSONAL”.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLYING FOR A BACHELOR’S DEGREE
IMPORTANT: READ THE STEPS TO FOLLOW UNTIL THE END OF THE DOCUMENT.
WARNING: the deadline to apply for the degree begins the day after the closing date of the minutes of the call in which the TFG/TFM is defended.
Do not pay the fees before that day.
Complete and sign the attached University Degree Application form:
Step 2. Make the deposit of the corresponding fees in the account number of España Duero, in the name of the School of Engineering indicated below.

If the student wants the official diploma to be sent to the Government Subdelegation indicated in the form, he/she will have to pay the corresponding fee and attach the proof of payment together with the Application for the Remission of the Diploma:
– 20 euros if it is in national territory
– 25 euros if within Europe
– 30 euros in the rest of the world
Students of Large Family Special Category do not pay fees for any of the documents and must attach a certified photocopy of their valid Large Family Book or corresponding card. Students with disabilities do not pay fees for either of the two documents and must provide a certified photocopy of the resolution certifying their disability status.
Step 3. Deliver to the Secretary’s Office or send by mail or e-mail (eiiadm@unileon.es) the form, bank receipts of payment(s) made, 1 photocopy of both sides of the ID card (not expired) and proof of exemption from payment if applicable (Large Family or Disability).
The title receipt will be sent by email digitally signed.
Those students who are enrolled at the University of León, and wish to continue or begin new studies at this or other universities, must request a TRANSFER OF THE STUDENT’S RECORD at the Secretary’s Office of the Center where they are enrolled. To request the transfer of your academic transcript, you must make a deposit or transfer to the School’s account at Unicaja Banco S.A. of the fees corresponding to the transfer. The account number of the School is: ES90 2103 4257 1100 3202 6630 and the amount to be paid is as follows: 32,93 ¤ if it is an ordinary fee, 16,47 ¤ if it is a Large Family of General Category. Exempted from payment are the beneficiaries of Large Family Special Category, students with disabilities, victims of terrorism, victims of gender violence and beneficiaries of the minimum living income benefit, and those transfers that are made between degrees taught in this school.
The concept must include: “NºDNI TRASLADO DE EXPEDIENTE”.

Those students who are enrolled at the University of Leónand enrolled in one of the degree programs offered at the School of Industrial, Computer and Aerospace Engineeringstudents may request the loan of a laptop computer for a maximum of 3 months through the School Library. To do so, students must request it from the school administration and must obtain the approval of the principal before they can go to the library to request such a device.
