The School of Industrial Engineering and Computer Science of the University of León (ULE) celebrated yesterday afternoon the feast of its patron saint, St. Joseph, with a solemn academic ceremony held in the Hansi Rodríguez Pavilion (Vegazana Campus), in which the sashes were given to the students of the 2015-16 class, and the commemorative insignia to those of the 2005-2006 class, who celebrated the tenth anniversary of their graduation.
The ceremony was presided over by the director of the school, Ramón Ángel Fernández Díaz, who was accompanied at the table by the President of the Social Council of the ULE, Javier Cepedano Valdeón, and the Vice-Rector for Resources and Infrastructure, Adolfo Rodríguez de Soto. Also present at the ceremony, among other authorities, were the Vice Rectors for Academic Planning, Alicia Rodríguez Pérez, for Students and Employment, Ana Isabel García Pérez, and the General Director of Telecommunications of the Junta de CyL, Mª Victoria Seco.
Colonel Juan Ángel Treceño gave a lecture on leadership, in which he recommended that the new engineers work as a team to achieve their goals.
