The Graduate inAerospace Engineering is qualified for professional practice in the field of aeronautical science and studies related to air navigation: Aerospace Vehicles, Air Navigation, Airports and Air Transport.
The training of the Graduate in Aerospace Engineering qualifies him/her to perform the following functions:
- Design, verification and technical-experimental testing on land, sea and air of models and prototypes of aerial material destined to the State or public services.
- Management, organization and implementation of official experimental facilities for aerial equipment research.
- Issuance of certificates of airworthiness, inspection and periodic or extraordinary revisions of specifically Aerospace material.
- Inspection of manufacturing in industries engaged in the construction and repair of aerial equipment.
- Overall technical project and special installations that are considered essential. All this related to equipment for airlines, airports and aerodromes of all categories, including runways and departure and arrival devices, infrastructure works, beaconing, lighting and communications installations.
- Overall technical projects related to the installation of flight protection networks, elements and services.
He will be able to start his own company or practice freely as an aerospace engineering and technology advisor and consultant. He/she may also choose to work for the Public Administration (civil servant or European Union, state, regional and local employees); technology transfer, development and innovation (public or private centers and innovation and development departments of large companies), and teaching.
